As a Region IX youth officer you will be expected to do the following things:
1. Attend all of the Region IX Youth meetings, in March and June.
2. Complete all task listed in the calendar or asked by your Youth Coordinator.
3. Attend officer meetings set up by the Youth Coordinator.
a. Meetings maybe by phone, email, or at a show. You will be given notice
before the meeting.
4. All officers must gather a minimum of two items with a combined value of at
least $75 for the youth silent auction held at Regionals. You are responsible
for getting the items donated or you will have to buy them yourself.
5. Attend Horsefest in January a. This is a mandatory officer meeting.
6. Attend the Retreat in August if we are holding one.
7. Take the minutes of each regional meeting.
a. Type them and turn them in to the Youth Coordinator and other officers.
8. Take pictures of at least 3 events the youth do before Regionals.
a. Pictures can be from Horsefest, shows, local club meetings, your horse
buddies and our regional club meetings.
b. They are due to the Youth Coordinator the Tuesday of the Regional horse
show.
Failure to complete theses task could terminate you from your positions held in office. If you can not attend one of these events you must have permission from the Youth Coordinator.
