Each year, Region 9 holds a Stallion Service Auction at an event held in January.  One half of the amount made at this auction is donated to the Youth Foundation AHA Region 9, Inc. scholarship program to support the youth of our Region who wish to continue their college educations and have a financial need to do so.  The other half of the proceeds from the sale is be paid out in the Region 9 Yearling Futurity classes held at the Region 9 Championship Show.

The 2012 Region 9 Stallion Service Auction will be held on January 21 2012 at the Crowne PlazaSouth Hotel, Fort Worth, Texas.
