Hey y’all!!! I am Sara Linck your 2008-2009 Region 9 Youth Director. I am 17, currently a junior at Rockwall-Heath High School in Heath, TX. I have been riding Arabians for 11 years and showing them for 7. I train with Jennifer Jackson of Garcitas Creek. I own a purebred gelding, TR Afire Engine Red, I show showmanship, Hunt Eq, and Pb Hunter 14-17. I am really excited for this year!!! If you see me around at a show, don’t be afraid to say ‘hey!’. Vice Director: Taylor Kraft

Hey guys! Im Taylor Kraft, your Region 9 Youth Vice Director for the 2008-2009 show season. I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Cy Woods High School in Cypress Texas. I have been riding since i was 5, and showing Arabians for the past 5 years. I am very excited for this year, and Sara and I are working hard to get more youth involved and having fun promoting our breed. This year i will be showing my new HA country horse, Tempting Fait. Secretary: Megan Monette

Hey guys! My name is Megan Monette and I am going to be your 2008-2009 Region 9 youth secretary. I am currently a senior at John Paul II HS in Plano Texas even though I live in Mckinney, Tx. Next year I plan on attending either Baylor University or Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth. I have been riding horses for about six years now and have been showing for about five. I cannot believe that this is my last year riding youth :[ it is so sad! I have no idea what I am going to do! Anyway, I ride with Sandy Bentley who is the trainer at  Baywood in Princeton. This year is going to bring some surprises in what and who I will be showing, but for sure I will be showing "Hawk" my pb hunter and side saddle horse. I am so excited to be your youth secretary!
